GoGa diaper bags all the Rave with fashion forward celebrities

I recently had the opportunity to speak will Jill Cartwright, founder of Go Gaga Diaper Bags. Jill is passionate about her products and company, she is a motivated and forward looking individual. On several instances we have exchanged emails and it is not uncommon to receive one from her late into the evening, questions and favors are always handled quickly.

Jill informed me that, Go GaGa was recently at the Golden Globes and received great reviews from many celebrities. It was not uncommon to here quotes such as, ” This is the ideal dad bag- I love it” by Michael Papajohn of True Blood, or “I get asked about my Go GaGa diaper bag all the time!” by Kevin Weisman of Alias.

Go GaGa diaper bags have features that are often overlooked by most major players in the diaper bag industry. I would have to say the biggest comfort feature to Go GaGa bags is there patent pending strap which evenly distributes the weight of the bag across your back and shoulders, so it wont slide off or cut into your neck. The strap fabric is also ideal for nursing moms because it does not put direct pressure on their breast. The strap also keeps us dads in mind by providing a sliding shoulder pad that cinches the strap for a more masculine look and feel. Each bag also includes an insulated bottle pocket, matching changing pad and enough storage to hold anything from a 14″ laptop to yoga mat and gym clothes. Constance Zimmer of Entourage said “We have one and use it all the time!”

Go Gaga diaper bags offer three different styles, The Gondola Bag (MSRP $98.00), The Messenger Bag (MSRP $118.00) or The Slide Tote (MSRP $118.00). All three styles are offered in Copper, Olive, Black, Cayenne, Eggplant and Sea Blue. The Eggplant and Sea Blue colors are also healthy for the planet being made out of 72% post consumer recycled fabric.

So I have to say, if you are in the market for a stylish and functional diaper bag, that meets the expectations of pretty choosy moms and dads alike, you need to look into Go GaGa diaper bags. There innovations into adding comfort to style puts them a leg up on the competition and I see great things in the future for this company.

For the complete line of  Go GaGa diaper bags I recommend you you visit our website at: www.divinediaperbags.com and see our huge selection of designer diaper bags.

The Essentials For Bringing Baby Home

Bringing your new baby home is so exciting, but can also be a little overwhelming. What are all the things you’ll need for your little one? Where do you start? Well here are just the basic essentials that you will need for your perfect little newborn angel.
Clothes
Of course you are going to need clothes. A common mistake many new parents make is buying too many clothes. Your little ones grow so fast that they grow out of their clothes very quickly. It is more cost effective to buy only the necessities and then begin to prepare for the next size up. You will need a coming home outfit, some stretch body suits (which my little ones lived in when they were little), socks, hats, and a jacket, depending on the time of year. Some other items that are nice to have around but are not necessary are some undershirts, nightdresses or sleep suits, bibs, sweaters, and mittens.
Nursery
You will need a crib, a mattress, a sheet, and a couple of lightweight blankets. These are the things that you will need before you bring your baby home. Some extras include a bumper, crib bedding, pillows and more, but they are not necessities. Other items that you might want are a rocking chair (which I think is a necessity for those late night feedings), a diaper pail, changing table, dresser, mobile, and a bookcase. What you get will depend on your budget and your preferences.
It may seem a little early for the bookcase, but it really isn’t too early to start building your child’s library of children’s books. The sooner children are exposed to books, the sooner the wide world of reading will open up for them. And also, a mobile is more than simply a decoration. The visual stimulation of a moving, colorful mobile helps your baby’s cognitive development.
Gear and Misc
A car seat is a must have in order to bring your baby home from the hospital. It’s also nice to have a stroller and a diaper bag for when your on the go. Activity centers, bouncers, swings, a highchair, play mats and more are all available for your baby. Pacifiers and teething rings are also nice to have around. There are plenty of entertaining and soothing toys for baby; you just need to decide what works best for you and your baby.
Feeding
What you will need depends on whether you plan on breastfeeding or using formula. Bottles, nipples, brushes, formula, breast pumps, breast pads, nursing pillow, nursing bras, and lanolin are just some of the basics that you will need to feed your child.
Bath and Baby Care Products
You will need a baby bathtub, towels, wash cloths, thermometers, fingernail clippers, nasal aspirator, Tylenol, and toiletries for your baby. You will also need to decide if you want to use disposable diapers or cloth diapers. You will also need baby wipes and a rash cream.
These are just the very basics that you will need for your little ones. I know that it can be a little overwhelming, but if you just follow these simple suggestions you will get the products that you need.
With our baby depot, rocking chairs, crib bedding, and more you will be able to find all the products that you need for your precious babies.

Come and visit our baby depot to find strollers, crib bedding, rocking chairs, and much, much more, for your precious little ones.

Baby’s Bliss™ Gripe Water

Colicky, hiccupy, and teething baby’s – your relief is here! Baby’s Bliss™ Gripe Water is the answer to your belly pain. Fully organic so Mom and Dad don’t have to worry about what they are putting into your tummy, this specialized Gripe Water soothes gas pain quickly and helps minimize your fuss. Since it does not need refrigerating, you can put it in the diaper bag and have it with you whenever you need it.

Bay’s Bliss™ Gripe Water is an all natural, herbal colic formula, safe for a newborn colic baby’s sensitive tummy.b It is made with organic fennel and ginger with sodium bicarbonate and fructose. The Gripe Water should be given to babies with colic when it appears that he or she is becoming uncomfortable, especially after eating, as this tends to be the time when we see colic in baby’s. It can be added to a bottle or simply placed in a dropper and squeezed into the baby’s mouth.

Mother and Fathers find this Gripe Water very effective natural colic solution for soothing stomach discomfort due to teething and hiccuping. Any time a baby swallows air, their belly gets gassy and baby’s have difficulty expelling this extra gas. The Gripe Water calms the gas in the stomach which results in a more contented baby and happier, more relaxed Mom and Dad. This product can provide infant gas relief and reduce colic in baby’s.

There is a possibility, as with all foods, that the baby may be allergic to an ingredient in the Gripe Water. When administering for the first time, be especially alert to changes in the baby’s skin (such as rash or hives), diarrhea, or vomiting. If you think your baby is having an allergic reaction, call your pediatrician immediately. Baby’s less than two weeks old or premature baby’s under seven pounds should not be given this product due to the possibility of an immature immune system.

Failing to put colic cures to practice right away when your baby starts to show signs of excessive gas will lead to many sleepless nights. Not to mention, your baby will be uncomfortable and in pain if you do not take immediate steps for treating colic.

Don’t be fooled by the name – adults can use Baby’s Bliss™ Gripe Water as well. Calm the gas in your own stomach from that sausage sandwich you had for lunch by taking a couple of tablespoons yourself. The Gripe Water typically takes effect in approximately five to twenty minutes, less time than it took to eat that sandwich. Some people have even commented that it is effective for the stomach discomfort which accompanies a hangover.

If your baby is picky about taste, don’t forget that Baby’s Bliss™ Gripe Water also comes in delicious apple flavor. For more convenience, try the two-bottle travel pack as well. The travel pack bottles consist of 1.5 ounces, so they are perfect for air travel. What a wonderful gift to give to those first-time parents who are losing sleep due to a colicky, fussy baby. Try Baby’s Bliss™ Gripe Water and get the rest and relief that you and baby both need.

About Baby’s Bliss™ and Mommy’s Bliss™: Baby’s Bliss™ and Mommy’s Bliss™ is a U.S Corporation with offices in San Rafael, California, just north of San Francisco. Diaper Bags – Don’t Forget To Pack All This!

DIAPER BAGS – DON’T FORGET TO PACK ALL THIS!

Have you ever been out somewhere with the little darling and you reach into your bag, or whatever you may be using, only to realize that you don’t have what you need? Hopefully this short guide will help you avoid those moments of panic. If you are prepared for most situations that may arise both you and your baby are going to be happier.

Let’s start with the bottom end. Obviously you will need an ample supply of diapers. Figure at a minimum of one to two per hour of your outing. Along with that include a plastic bag for disposal of the dirtied ones. And of course you will need a supply of baby wipes. They can be purchased in travel packs that will fit nicely in your bag. You may also prefer to take your own changing pad. They work so much better than the back seat of your car or a park bench. And probably a whole lot more sanitary!

Now that we have taken care of what comes out we must deal with what will be needed to replenish the babe. Included will be milk/ water/ formula and solids. Don’t forget the containers and utensils for all.
You will also probably need a bib or two. And again more plastic bags for the dirtied ones.

A change of clothing from head to toe is also a definite must. Don’t forget a hat and gloves if the weather dictates such. It’s probably a good idea to throw an extra blanket in, it will come in handy when you least expect it to be needed.

Most often there are little side pockets on your diaper bag that will accommodate such items as medication, pacifiers, sanitary wipes, sun block and emergency phone numbers.

Last but not least you can throw a small toy or two in for entertainment purposes. And throw a snack in for yourself. You may still have room for a camera or a bottle of water for yourself also.

Of course the length of your trip will determine how much you need to pack. Remember most of the time it’s just a short time out and not a week long trip that you are packing for. I hope this may help you out and please be sure to enjoy your time with each other.

Gary A. Larson is the owner of BabyBagsandDreams.com – a site devoted to the sale of diaper bags and other baby needs. 20 Strange and Funny Baby Products

Bringing up a child can be a nightmare in a less-than-hygienic world, but at what point does cleanliness and safety consciousness transcend the boundaries of sanity?

1. Toad stool :

Your child will definitely find this stool hilarious. You can put everything within reach for your little ones on this frog-theme stool. When your child steps or sits on the stool, it croaks. Teeth brushing time will become a little more fun when your child steps on this stool.

2. Potty Mitts :

Have a phobia that your children might catch diseases from unknown sources in public places? Water-resistant Potty Mitts are sure to change your life and your outlook.

In addition to keeping your kids free of germs, these revolutionary disposable gloves are small enough to fit into a handbag or diaper bag. A must for those visiting less-than-clean environs, but make sure you don’t flush them down the toilet; they’re not flush-able.

3. Poop Scoop Bag :

One for really hard-core greenies in keeping with current trends to cut down waste and keep in tune with natural rhythms. The idea is to monitor Baby’s bowel movements, and, instead of clothing them in diapers, let them do their thing whenever and wherever they please.

The trick is to always have your 100% bio-degradable ‘baby poop scoop’ bag at hand to ensure their waste doesn’t become the planet’s.

4. Monkey Bottle Hugger :

Monkey see, monkey do! Use this adorable baby’s bottle cover to keep the bottle contents at a constant temperature and prevent condensation. The expandable elastic mouthpiece fits all bottles and sip cups and keeps it from falling out of Baby’s mouth. The furry cover ensures that your child has an easy, comfortable grip at the same time.

5. Pee Pee Bottle:

An ingenious solution for those frequent tight moments when you’re nowhere near a toilet or natural spot, My Pee Pee bottle is as effective for adults as it is for children when it comes to needing a compact, portable space to relieve yourself.

Designed to replace public toilet seat covers, it is leak- and odour-proof and great if you’re on the move, but critics point out that, though it comes in pink and blue, its lack of transparency could detract from its functionality.

6. Baby knee pads:

Here’s an easy way to keep your baby happy while crawling. Your baby will never suffer from grazed, bruised, red and sore knees with these knee pads. There is no need to worry on which floor your baby is crawling inside or outside.

You can easily put the pads with the help of Velcro straps behind baby’s knees to keep them in place. The pads provide maximum protection without restricting the movement and circulation when your baby hits the knees against furniture.

7. Thudguard Helmet:

A UK-derived safety device to help cushion your toddler from banging their head too hard when they fall or collide, the Thudguard helmet may be taking safety too far.

While it looks cute and soft, one can’t help thinking that it conjures up images of astronauts and space bubbles and other unnatural climates where ultimate protection is required. Whatever happened to the learning experience gleaned from a good, solid graze?

8. Shampoo Hat:

A fun, feminine derivative of an adult shower cap, this frilly crown is an excellent way to keep soapsuds and shampoo out and your baby’s humor intact if she/he doesn’t like getting her/his head wet.

The foam ring has a hole in the middle which serves as a visor and ensures there are no more tears at bath time. Available in pink and blue as well as with cartoon motifs.

9. Baby Snot Sucker:

As clinically correct as the country which spawned it, this Swedish nasal device is possibly the snottiest invention you will ever come across. A cross between a tube and a straw, the Nosefrida is a bizarre way of ensuring Baby’s excess mucus does not choke or suffocate.

A long, flexible tube with a mouthpiece on the parent’s end and a nostril sucker on the baby’s end, the Nosefrida introduces a whole new concept to child care: nose to mouth resuscitation. Lest you are worried that you’ll ingest the baby’s snot, the developers have thought of everything.

An inline filter stops the snot from reaching your mouth, and you just have to wash it in the sink before using again.

10. Potty Song:

Remember Thomas the Tank Engine, a childhood ditty used by many parents to inspire their toddlers by repeating the lines & think I can, I know I can’t The times they have changed and the parents reckon they’ve got wiser.

The newly released Potty Song CD will encourage any kid want to change their diapers, and go to the loo all by themselves. A brilliant Pavlovian concept, the CD allows you to play your child a personalized song which rewards him/her for using the potty by saying their name over and over again. The attention your child receives makes him/her keep going back for more.

11. Babykeeper Basic:

A cross between a handbag and a carrycot, the Babykeeper Basic is the perfect antidote to keeping your baby out of harm’s way when you don’t have enough arms. It hangs comfortably from walls of most public restrooms and fitting rooms by means of two large metal hooks protected with safety webbing.

An added benefit of the patent-pending carrier chair, padded with non-slip material, is that it offers a safe, efficient way to keeping your child strapped up while you push the shopping trolley. Just don’t mistake it for your handbag!

12. Pee-Pee Teepee:

A discerning design from someone who has cottoned on to Baby’s unpredictable toilet behavior, this clever little triangular tent-like cover will shield you from “sprinkling wee wee†while trying to change your baby’s nappy. Washable and waste-friendly, the wee-wee wigwam comes in three styles: cellophane, laundry bag and terry cloth. Wham bam, thank you Mom.

13. Bink Tees:

From day one, babies are friends of pacifiers. If your baby is no exception, you will love this new line of t-shirts suitable for little suckers. Your baby will love this bink tees and amuse themselves with binkies for hours putting them in, spitting them out, and crying to retrieve it again. When they throw it out, you wash it off and put back or give it to her and the whole routine starts again.

14. Billy Bob Pacifiers:

If your baby is one of those who share that traditional longing for two front teeth for Christmas, give him/her something to really smile about. Besides keeping everyone in the vicinity in stitches, these wacky Billy Bob Baby Pacifiers soothe Baby and makes you wonder whether s/he really does only have a sublime mouth full of teeth.

15. Baby Legs:

Your baby’s legs are being exposed to the chilly air because of gapiosis. Protect your little ones legs from wind burn and chill with these baby legs. Your baby’s soft knees are protected from harsh surfaces, bugs, and sun rays. Keeps legs warm, comfortable alternative to tights and allows barefoot walking.

16. Baby High Heels:

Reverse the age order and dress up your little lamb as mature mutton. Not that the intention is to make your child grow up before its time, but these booties with high heels will add a fun dimension to yours, and Baby’s life.

Designed by two childhood friends for a laugh, the soft, decorative heel adds a fun aspect to comfortable crib shoes. Aptly named Heelarious, the shoes cannot support any weight and are not intended to be anything other than comfortable, but zany, baby shoes in a range of trendy designs. Ignore them at your peril.

17. Baby Food Dispensing Spoon:

Feed your baby conveniently one bite at a time with Squirt baby food dispensing spoon. 3 ounces of baby food can be filled in the bulb and attached firmly to the spoon end. Get the right amount of food from bulb with a simple squeeze. Protective cover helps to seal the food and to keep the spoon clean.

18. Baby Mickey womb doll:

Think your newborn baby might be missing the warmth of your womb? Takara Tomy has come up with a melodic solution in the form of a doll to apparently recreate the primal sounds of in utero heartbeat and blood flow outside the womb. Issho ni Nenne Baby Mickey and Minnie Womb-sound dolls aim to ease babies into a relaxing sleep cycle, and provide them with a new friend at the same time.

19. Baby Bottom Fan:

Just when you thought they hadn’t thought of everything to make Baby’s upbringing as clinical and as humanly possible, a Freudian with a serious hygiene fetish got wind of the news.

Equipped with a built-in anti-microbial fragrance dispenser to protect your baby from skin ailments, the Baby Bottom Fan is the quintessential gizmo to keep your baby dry, and you busy, at every diaper change. Apparently eases sleep and irritation too, and comes with sponge fan blades to eliminate any possibility of danger.

20. Peter Potty Toddler Urinal:

Now you can potty train your toddler boy easily with this flushable toddler urinal. This toddler urinal provides your little guy standup experience 6 months faster. The low basin is easier to use, reducing mess.

After using it, your kid loves to push the flush button. No plumbing is required; you have to just fill the reservoir at sink.

Picking A Gift For Your Newborn Baby Boy

When a new baby is born, it is very nice to give the parents something for their baby. Sometimes it is a useful gift, sometimes it is a personalized one, sometimes it is a gift that is more for the parents than the baby. Whatever your choice, your gift for their newborn baby boy will be appreciated.

The Easy Way to Choose

One of the easiest ways to select a gift is to get just what they want. Perhaps they’ve had their eye on a certain type of diaper bag, with the cutest fabric, or maybe the mother has been really wanting a sling to use to carry her baby for many months and knows which type she wants. If you ask the parents if there is a particular gift they’d like, they can tell you of such wants. They can also tell you if there is something they still need for their little one, something that they haven’t already received at a baby shower or from relatives. Often these gifts are the most appreciated.

Making It Personalized

A new trend that is growing in popularity is to give a gift that is personalized for a newborn baby boy. These gifts usually it includes the baby’s name, but it can also say their birthdate, weight and length. Gifts that are often personalized are bibs, blankets, picture frames, and bath towels. It is a pleasant surprise for a parent to see their baby’s name written on the gift, and they’ll appreciate the extra effort you want to for them and their newborn baby boy. Unique gifts like these are treasured for a lifetime.

Giving an Heirloom

Heirloom gifts are kept and passed down from generation to generation. These are traditionally baby rattles or mugs. They are often personalized with the baby’s name and date of birth.

From a Distance

If you don’t live nearby, you can still give the baby’s parents a great gift. Many specialty stores and Internet stores carry baby gift baskets. Some are appropriate for all babies, other newborn gift baskets are for boys or girls. You can decide which basket you’d like. Most places will baskets already designed in various themes, like bathtime, bedtime, clothing, etc. If you get clothing, please consider that babies are only in newborn sizes for a very short time -  you might want to get items in at least 3 month size, or 6 month to be sure they’ll fit!

Putting in More Time Than Money

You can always make a meaningful gift for the newborn baby boy. Knitted or crocheted blankets and clothes is always popular, as are sewn clothing and quilts. Some people enjoy creating a scrapbook for the parents with photos that the parents have taken over the months of pregnancy and/or the early newborn time.

A Baby Stroller For Every Purpose

If you have kids – specifically- if you have young kids -you know that having the right baby stroller for every situation is crucial. If you don’t have children, then trust me…it’s true!

I am the the father of 3 1/2 year old twins, and my wife and I learned this the hard way. Guys, listen to me very carefully. If your wife is pregnant, and you are just started to look at baby stroller options, you have to understand something very important. When it comes to strollers, they are definitely NOT “one size fits all”!

Expecting parents are often suprised to see how many types of strollers are available. I mean, lets be serious…do we really need more than just a standard stroller? Is it really necessary to have an umbrella stroller and a jogging stroller too? How much of my money do the stroller companies need?

The truth is, having children completely changes your life. You probably won’t be going many places without your baby for a while. So if you want to go ANYWHERE, you have to be flexible. Taking the right (or wrong) stroller with you can make (or break) your “outings” as a family.

When you have an infant, a snap-n-go is a great thing. You can just pop the car seat out (with your baby still sleeping soundly) and transfer it to a stroller frame. For a quick trip to the grocery store, umbrella strollers are great. They are extremely compact and lightweight, but they don’t have any cushioning, so you wouldn’t want your child to sit in one for too long. Plus, there is no storage space for a diaper bag (or a cell phone, cup of coffe, etc.)

If you are planning to stroll the mall, a standard stroller is a better choice. Much more comfortable for the child, and most of them provide room to store your stuff. They are a little more bulky and harder to open up/fold down, it is worth the effort.

When my wife first mentioned getting a jogging stroller, I actually thought she was kidding. But if you spend any length of time ALONE with your children, this is a great way to get some excercise by going for a jog AND let your little one get some fresh air at the same time. And I can tell you, most babies LOVE the movement and subtle bouncing they get while you go jogging. Its a win-win!

Anyway, I could go on, but I think you get the picture. Fortunately, my kids can walk most places now, so my stroller days are almost behing me. Oh, wait a minute…I almost forgot. Just because your kids CAN walk doesn’t mean they WILL walk! One last word of advise: If you have kids between 3 and 5, dont EVER take them to Disney World (or any amusement park) without bringing strollers. If you do, trust me, they will be on your shoulders or asking to be carried long before the park closes! So if you want to keep your back healthy, you better bring the right baby stroler.

Written by a father of 3 1/2 year old twins who knows how hard it can be to stay active and flexible with a young family.

Selecting A Baby Gift For A Newborn

When a baby is born, traditionally we give the baby and his or her parents gifts to celebrate the birth. This can be done at a baby shower, which is often held at a restaurant or in the home of one of the mother’s friends, or the gift can be given as a special surprise for the mother without any party.

Often the baby shower has a theme for the presents, usually planned in coordination with the mother and her needs. Sometimes, the giver can be part of a “group gift” for the baby newborn boy or girl, and go in with other people at the church or workplace to buy the family a more expensive present, one that is more expensive than anyone wants to buy alone.

Practical Gifts

One type of gift are the practical gifts. This would include things like diapers (whether disposable or the “new” trend – cloth) and diaper covers, practical clothing like undershirts, sleepers, and other necessary items, receiving blankets and larger ones, and anything else the mother has expressed an interest in receiving, like a sling or diaper bag.

Newborn Baby Gifts That Pamper

Pampering gifts are the type that the mother and father probably wouldn’t buy on their own, but they would love to have. These include things like diaper service for a month or two, and very fancy clothing for the newborn.

Something that is very popular now is to give newborn baby gifts that are personalized. Almost any present can be turned into a personalized gift – there are many websites and companies that will add a name to a blanket, bib, towel, etc. Imagine the thrill for a mother as she opens your gift to find her baby’s name on the satin binding of a blanket!

Suggested Gifts For Mom!

Mom could use a bit of pampering after her hard work. A gift for mom could be a massage or getting her nails done. Mom may appreciate a book she’s had her eye on, which she can read while she’s breastfeeding the baby. Or it could be a scrapbook made from pregnancy photos documenting her journey into motherhood. Note that the best newborn baby gifts for mom aren’t ones that take her away from her newborn, but ones she can enjoy while the babe is asleep or contented in a auntie’s arms.

What About Gifts For Dad?

What would dad like when he’s got a newborn? Many dads enjoy getting regular meals – and when mom’s busy with her newborn baby, a gift can be bringing in meals to the family.
